Spiral Ridge Socks

I decided to play with my plain sock pattern by adding texture with some purl stitches. I had 72 stitches on 2mm needles and so I added 6 purl stitches to each needle. I moved the purl stitches 3 stitches in the next row and the third row was plain. The socks spiral in each direction.
I used Fleece Artist sock seconds that I got in Victoria a few years ago.

Dare I put  it in print, that I am trying to do 12 pairs of socks this year. Hope that doesn’t jinx it.

What fun! If you carried it to the end of the toe, would you have an elfish turn-up?
